Sep. 9th, 2003 08:47 pmNote to self: when trying a new sandwich recipe, remember that the amounts used for the dressing aren't just there because the person writing the recipe had nothing better to do. They're there because, contrary to what is apparently your own belief, bread is not made of plastic and will sop all of the excess up and turn into a disgusting, gushy mess.
Ahem.
So I had leftovers for dinner tonight. Good thing I always make extras. Ahem.
Now to catch up on the scary backlog that is my email box. Then and only then will I get myself out of this shame spiral.
Well - the email shame spiral. Obviously nothing can cure the shame of a failed sandwich.
ETA: As long as I'm talking about shame spirals from postponed projects, would someone please convince me not to do the thing I'm thinking of doing? No, you don't need to know what. Just tell me not to be stupid and that I don't have either the sanity or time. Thank you.
