thebratqueenWell, I'm an aunt again! Mouse has a baby sister named - I'm guessing at the spelling here - Annika. She was born at 1:30 today, thus thwarting my hopes of getting a family pool started as to whether or not she'd be born on the due date.
Apparently she's just a little rusher though as she was born at home. P-sis went into labor, Older Bro got on the phone with the doc and the doula, they all tried to co-ordinate getting P-sis to the hospital when she said "Nope, baby's coming." so Older Brother got to deliver his own daughter. She showed up on the scene at about the same time as the ambulance did.
Quote Older Brother: "Eh. All in a day's work."
They're at the hospital now but plan on being home by dinner. P-sis has her mom in town so they've got plenty of help. Not sure yet when I'll get to meet the newbie but I assume sometime this week.
So, cool. =)
