A public apology

thebratqueenI need to make an announcement. It's a little against the norm. I know that normally those of you who read this journal are used to snark, fannish stuff and, well, lots of porn but there comes a time when such things have to be put aside for more important matters.
I need to make an apology. This is very difficult for me so please bear with me if I don't get the words right.
Ahem.
I - I'm very sorry I caused all that war.
It was wrong of me and I daresay even inexcusable. But in my defense I didn't even know that I was doing it. I didn't find out until this morning when I opened up the paper and read a letter to the editor where a woman in my town pointed out that homosexuality is a sin, and that the Lady of Fatima says that where there is sin there is war and that since it has been proven that homosexuals can become straight you can basically draw your own conclusions.
Well, gosh. I don't even know what to say. I had no idea! And, believe you me, I am not unaware of the irony. I mean here I am, gaying it away, blaming Bush for all the insane war mongering in this country when in fact it's all my fault! I feel just horrible.
Again - not that I suggest that this kind of thing has any excuse but - well I've never even been to the Middle East. Moreover I'm not even seeing anyone at the moment so I never even thought I was technically gay enough. Little did I know that I was passively gay to a strong enough extent that I was bringing this kind of end of days chaos across the land.
So, again, I am really really really sorry about that. Boy this is just so my bad. "Whoops" doesn't even begin to cover it. I feel just awful and I promise to never, ever cause war again.
Unless writing pornography is also a sin in which case you might want to stock up on the duct tape again. But otherwise we're golden.
