Computer at work has that thing where a box pops up and says the computer will be shut down in 60 due to some remote procedure call error. This is not amusing because:
1) It's annoying period
2) It's a Monday, which means I'm dealing with all the leftover stuff from the weekend and a phone that's ringing off the hook so I do not have time for this
3) My boss, who knows nothing about computers, keeps trying to "help". Never has the phrase "You can help by getting me a beer" been so apt
Also 4) Chances are if the work computer has it, my computer has it, since I transfer story files back and forth. I've run virus checks on both and they've come up clean, so yay for a new virus.
Anybody out there know what this is and how to fix it?
