thebratqueenYep, sure enough the local Border's books will be doing the post-midnight thing. Guess where I'm going to be tomorrow night? And considering that I've got Saturday off, guess how late I'm going to be up that night as well ;)
Now to go annoy the @#$% out of the poor people working there by calling and asking if it's too late to reserve a copy. Ah retail - a job where nobody gets paid enough to do what they do.
[ETA - Humph! Missed the deadline to reserve a copy by a day. And according to the guy I spoke to if you didn't reserve a copy you're not getting one for a few days. Phooey!]
[EATA - Hooray for Barnes & Naboo! One reserved copy, one post-midnight shopping extravaganza. Now to start loading my Palm up with fic to keep me occupied for all the waiting I'll have to do.]
In other news there seems to be this bright, burning thing in the sky. I'm a little perturbed. I may need to go hide in the basement until it goes away. Assuming this office building has a basement. I've honestly never checked. For all I know we could be on top of a home of large gopher nests (which is to say that the gophers are large, but I'd imagine their nests would have to be as well).
