thebratqueenI'm in happy shopping afterglow at the moment. I hit just the right amount of stores before succumbing to shopping fatigue. You know the kind. It's like museum fatigue where after a certain point all the paintings blur together and none of it matters anymore because you've got a faint buzzing behind your eyes.
Most significantly [Cordy]I got new clothes![/Cordy] Shirts, to be precise, as I was woefully lacking in that area. I also got a brand spanking new cell phone (same number as the old one, for thems that care) because, frankly, I wanted a new toy to play with.
Also my dad got a new cell phone a couple of months ago and it's just not right for my dad to have a cooler cell phone than I do.
Watched The Matrix with my folks as well, since they hadn't seen the first one yet. Dad says he wants to be fully indoctrinated into the cult so I guess Reloaded will be in my future once more.
I also suck as a daughter b/c I totally did not realize that father's day was this upcoming Sunday and certain events in New Jersey are going to keep me from that. Whoops.
Still, only four days of work this week. Can't find anything wrong with that.
