thebratqueenFinally got a chance to sit down and watch the Red Green movie. Much props must be given to the Virgin Megastore in Times Square for actually having it on DVD. 'Twas fun. Had some good lines. And of course it had my boyfriend, Ranger Gord. Ranger Gord is worth the price of admission right there my friend. Or in my case the price of the DVD.
Also saw the Matrix. It was okay. Not sure if reading about some of the fight scenes beforehand ruined me for actually seeing them, since reading things like "Oh the scene of XYZ happening is so cool no one will be able to repeat it ever!" makes me picture things that are apparently leagues beyond what we actually got, which might still be cool in and of itself, but wasn't what I was picturing. Plus I think LotR is spoiling me for FX, because now if it isn't truly 100% seamless I want to know why it's on my screen, and a lot of the CGI stuff was not seamless. Or at least not as seamless as it should have been.
Tonight's dinner was roasted turkey. As always y'all are welcome to come have some ;)
ETA: I think I figured out that the hottie behind Sean Connery in the League of Extraordinary Gentleman trailer is Stewart Townsend. I feel so... dirty. [shudder]
