My Wesley:
Is an only child.
Excelled at school.
Did not think of his work as excellent. Merely expected.
Never thinks of his work as exellent. Merely expected.
Was a scout.
Loved his grandmother.
Got his interest in plants from her.
Loves his mum.
Used to wish that the two of them could have had a different life, ideally middle or lower class.
Now no longer wishes for many things.
Makes no mistakes.
Ever.
Reads Patrick O'Brian.
Loves mysteries. Especially the ones set in Florida.
Secretly likes country music.
Would admit that secret to Angel.
Knew within weeks of arriving in Los Angeles that his new mission in life was Angel.
Hates Angel as much as he loves him, sometimes.
Accepted Angel trying to kill him.
Accepts that Angel will try it again.
Does not consider that it will be "if" Angel tries to kill him again.
Does not consider that it will be if Angelus tries to kill him again.
Though he doesn't rule that possibility out either.
Would die if it meant Angel could live.
Knows that Angel is the one and only proof of God's hand on this earth.
Resents God for torturing Angel, sometimes.
Would point out to Christ that He only had three days in Hell. Try doing it for centuries and then patting yourself on the back about it.
Wishes Angel could be happy.
Never admitted to anyone why he hated that Angel thought he could be happy with Cordelia.
Knows that Lilah knows that he hated it.
Knows that Lilah knows why.
Knows that Lilah would have - should have - been the wife, or partner, or something that he was meant to be with.
Sometimes wonders if he was meant to be with Faith.
Still feels Watcher-guilt for lusting after a Slayer, however.
Isn't unaware of his slight fetish for cheeky American girls who skitter close to being half his age.
Has forgiven Buffy for getting him sacked.
Might not have forgiven Buffy for hurting Angel.
Threw away his glasses, thighmasters and Gallagher tapes not long after returning from hospital last year.
Sometimes wishes Angel would call him on that.
Sometimes wishes that Angel would call him on anything.
Wants Angel to watch over and protect him again almost as much as he wants Angel to let go and acknowledge that he's his own man.
Isn't unaware of the overlap this has with his daddy issues.
Is slowly forgetting why he had daddy issues.
Knows he'll look more and more like his father as he gets older.
Resolved to only have girl children because of this.
Assuming he ever has children.
Figured out what he and Fred would name their kids.
And their dog.
Laughs when he remembers that Charles would have been the godfather.
Would have been as devoted to Connor as he was to Connor's father.
Would steal Connor again in a heartbeat.
Knew from the start that Angel was never meant to be a father.
Hated having to be the one to do that to him.
Would totally understand Angel's final decision about Connor if Angel hadn't stolen the memory from him.
Plans to be with Lilah in Hell.
Plans to look up at Angel while he's down there.
