Had to share a happy

thebratqueenRandom personal tidbit from TBQ's life as I sit here waiting for Mer to call and say her train's here -
As some of you know, I came out to my parents a few months back (thus inspiring the classic Cindy quote "I can't believe you came out to your folks and they offered to help you buy a condo. I need to get a new family."). They were, as I anticipated, very accepting of it all.
As time went on we chatted about it and I pointed them in the direction of various bits of literature that might interest them, such as the PFLAG website. Well earlier today I was chatting with Mom and she said that she and Dad were thinking of joining PFLAG.
Bear in mind that my folks are Roman Catholic.
This definitely made their baby daughter go squee. Gotta say - my family rocks.
