Msc Angel thoughts
May. 8th, 2003 10:44 amProbably not spoilery, but because some people are more sensitive to spoilers than others I'll be on the safe side.
That being said, in my ideal world, y'all would please remember the following:
1) Tim Minear directed this. If you love David's acting, love Tim's directing. I don't deny that David has the chops to be a good actor, but a Stradivarius is only as good as the violinist.
2) We don't know what's up with Gunn and the panther yet. If you didn't get what was going on there, you're okay. That was meant to be ambiguous.
3) We don't know the full extent of what Angel did with Connor. Could be memory wipe. Could be alternate universe. Could be none of the above. Please breathe into a paper bag and calm down before having hissy fits about ME completely throwing away seasons 3-4 because we don't know that they did. Also ask yourself how likely it is that ME thinks they could increase ratings by asking their core audience to completely forget two years worth of canon. The answer? Not likely. It's okay. Go to your happy place.
Thank you. That is all for now. Perhaps later I'll do my thesis about why Cordy no longer belongs on this show.
