I hate when my net connection is wonky and I don't think to reboot because all I check is LJ and god knows LJ is such a devon it's hard to tell where one problem starts and the other ends. (Granted I was able to load a couple of other websites fine but still.)

Other signs that I am a blonde:

Thinking that I had actually gained weight this Saturday because the waist of my previously loose pants suddenly felt tight, then belatedly remembering that I was wearing a belt.

Shut up.

I also gave my car some kicky racing stripes this weekend. This was done for free thanks to construction downtown that shoehorned me into a tight turn that, mea culpa, I misjudged as being able to do and - SCREEEEEEEECH - racing stripes.

Luckily the damage isn't nearly as bad as I remembered it being (this was while I was on my way to the train station for lucifrix's party so it was basically check the car to make sure the passenger's side was still attached then book for the arriving train) but still, guess we know where some of my tax refund will be going once I get the chance to track down someone who does car paint.

Speaking of which, I've been given warning that some multi-region DVD players apparently do not play widescreen. Is this true? taffimai does yours?
