The good news: fans of shows like 1900s House and Frontier House are going to be happy to find out that next week we're going to get The Manor House, wherein two sets of famlies get together to live as they would have in 1910 England, with the catch being that one of the families will be upper class and the other will be their lower class servants. They'll be expected to conform to historical accuracy, up to and including the strict etiquette of the time. There will also be a show following it which will detail things like the food of the time for those who have an interest. This will RULE.
The bad news: The first run of the show is Mon-Wed, from 8-11 (if you include the detail show) Eastern time. As in WHEN BUFFY AND ANGEL ARE ON!!!
Damn them! I can't even tape it because I'll be taping Angel on Wednesday, although I suppose I can at least tape everything except that last hour. They're going to rerun it, but I'm going to be away that day, so either way I'm going to end up having to wait to see it.
I guess my only hope is that they rerun it after midnight like they did with the other "House" series on a couple of PBS stations that I get. [fingers crossed]
Still - yay new House series!
