thebratqueenNot much of a subject, I realize, but still - it's cold!!
Day one of boss being out of town. Happily keeping myself busy with various projects I've been putting off. Also feeding plot bunnies. Have vague suspicion that Cat and Mouse is going to get a new story before Epiphany will, but we'll see how that goes.
Luna and Mac are doing okay. They've met and hissed a little but have otherwise settled into a comfortable "Okay I don't hate you but I don't know how I do feel about you yet either" mode. Mac is behaving himself and hasn't whacked her once, which is very admirable since she has chased him a couple of times.
At other times, though, they either go about their business or take naps. I'm told by all the "so you want to introduce a cat to your resident cat" stuff that this is a good sign.
Luna is also trying to figure out the routine of the house. She didn't quite understand that Mommy can only hug her for so long during the lunch break. I came in, sat and snuggled with Mac per my ususal, then snuggled her, then when I put her down she was clearly confused by this because don't we like the snuggling?
Still, considering how much could be going wrong, I'm very pleased.
