Bullet points of life

Knitting is going nicely. This really is just the project I needed: mindless, yet pretty enough that I don't feel I'm wasting my time.

Boss is going away on vacation tomorrow afternoon. It's only for the weekend but oh I am looking forward to it.

I am insane enough to ponder asking if there's going to be any Tribal folks at WriterCon. Because what I really need is to try to organize something like that when I don't even have brainpower to buy a plane ticket.

This weekend I shall be attempting to make hot cross buns for the first time. I've never even eaten them before so I have no idea how they're supposed to turn out. (Well... hot, and cross, and bunny one assumes. But beyond that I'm bartending eating in the dark.)

Sigh

Boss has yet again done a round of "I'm bored, let's dump work on TBQ."

He's also under the impression that I'm working this Friday even though 1) he's going to be out of town and 2) It's Good Friday.

I'm not going to be here, but ten bucks says he thinks this is a vacation day instead of a holiday. AGAIN.
