Ever have one of those days where it's such a miracle that you're feeding yourself at all that you just have to write off whatever it is that you're shoving in your mouth?

Yeah, me neither. Certainly not one of those (*looks at calander*) - erm. Yeah. Me neither.

I'm having far too much geeky fun with my rediscovered knitting journal. It's actually inspired me to try knitting up a new zill holder just so I can make sure I'm recreating the pattern perfectly. This then got me to thinking about making more, and doing variations on it with cables and beads and - did I mention that #3 dpns make me feel like I'm going to poke myself in the eye at any second?

Of course me being me, that just makes me want to do it more because I'm a "Get back on that horse" kind of a girl. Only without actually getting on the needles since ouch.

Perhaps inspired by my journal, I've been scanning a lot of knitting blogs. I'm sure all y'all have recs on knitting (and even crochet) blogs that have RSS feeds through LJ, riiiiiight?
