There is no snow. Also no oatmeal.

It's been warm. This does not make me happy. It's January! There's supposed to be cold and snow, damn it!

Instead it's been 50 degrees F, and rainy.

Now I like me some rain, but not when it's winter!

Adding to the woe of my life I was thwarted in my oatmeal lifestyle this morning. I got everything ready except the one crucial mise to en place, viz. the oatmeal itself. I had some, but not enough for the recipe.

Luckily there were pancakes in the freezer to save me from starving to death but woe! WOE!!

On the up side I went shopping and now have oatmeal, so I can make it tomorrow.

Also I got pretty new yarn today! When it grows up it's going to be a scarf.

Oh! And I signed up for a sewing class. It starts at the end of February.
