Storms, knitting, stuff
Aug. 14th, 2005 11:44 pmStill getting big ol' thunderstorms here. Nothing as dramatic as on Friday, but large with the rumbling and the lightening. It's been cool, though apt to have me stay off of the computer.
Luckily I was able to use it enough today that I could clear some items off the To Do list. Not the character questions, unfortunately, but hopefully I can get to those tomorrow.
On the knitting front it looks as though I'm in the home stretch on the sweater for TTSG. I just have a few inches left on the second sleeve, then all that's left of the main body is about an inch or so more complete with buttonholes. But I can't do that until I buy the actual buttons. Once done, I then get to practice seaming! I am in no way intimidated by this. Nor am I lying when I say that.
What's strange is realizing that I'm coming to the end of this project. I've been working on the sweater on and off for so long that for the most part knitting = sweater. Once it's done I've got nothing else lined up. I'll have to start looking through my books and patterns to see if anything leaps out at me. Perhaps I'll take the plunge and try to knit something that I can wear.
