Musical friends

So I'm swapping flists with anonymousdi today, as per circe's commands because we all obey circe. Especially since swmbo is currently off groping people while muttering about raccoon porn.

Anyhoo, I have learned that DSL is much more fun to have at work than dial-up (not related to the swap, but still true), that I am continually unaware of who has me friended and who I have friended in return ("Oo - neat post! I should friend this... oh, yeah, I did already." or "Crap? You mean I haven't got [name] on my flist yet? How frikkin' blond am I?" or "Hey, a flocked post from someone who has me in the filter! That almost feels like sneaky eveasdropping, except not, but I get my excitement when I can.")

I have also discovered this post, which is possibly the best response to the whole hug, lick, grope kerfuffle to date.

Not that I would date posts, of course, as that co-opts heterosexual behavior. Also obsessedmuch might get jealous.

Results of flist swapping

Okay. Have spent the day swapping flists with anonymousdi. I now bring you my report.

Ahem. [stands in front of class, holds papers in front of her]

Today while swapping friends lists, I learned:

1) Caramel ice cream is good
2) It's possible to analyze AtS via mathematics, and fractals which is really cool
3) There are possibly worse things to have near your crotch than raccoons
4) Reading flocked posts on someone else's LJ feels like discovering a secret treasure. Esp if you don't have that person friended already
5) It's possible that there might be A Nick Brendon calendar
6) Some people have really purdy icons of Angel and Spike fucking
7) Kerfuffles from the POV of people you don't know give new and interesting perspectives
8) There are scarier things than Anne Geddes photos all by their lonesome
9) Giles is a hot-ass, which actually I knew already, but it's a nice thing to end on.

That was fun! I wanna do it again! Can I? Huh? Can I? Can I?
