Er - is there a doctor in the house?
Feb. 17th, 2004 06:04 amI honestly do not know the answer to this question and WebMD doesn't cover it beyond saying when I should go to a doctor. So I appeal to you, the viewers at home:
Is a sore throat something you stay home for? I went to bed maybe 5 hours ago and I felt more or less fine, then I woke up now because it hurts when I swallow. My WebMD symptom check only puts me at "sore throat with pain from swallowing" and says I should try home treatment for the next 8 hours to see if I improve b/f calling a doctor, but in the meanwhile is that a call in sick to work thing? Because I'm due to go to work in about 2 hours.
So, um, help?
ETA: Got no sleep after that, felt even worse. Called in sick.
