(no subject)

Sigh. Tim Minear co-writes the premiere of Firefly and apparently writes and directs the second episode. Damn it! I mean I was going to watch anyway, but they're really taking advantages of my weaknesses here.

Gotta love the website though. The "designed by a 12 year old who just learned HTML " aspect of it is admittedly amusing, but OTOH don't tell me Joss doesn't know his audience. Spoilers and shooting script pages. Oh yeah. They're so oblivious to the real way we appreciate ME shows ;)

In other news First Knight was on. This movie could not interest me less, which is frustrating because Alexis is in it. Knowing that he undoubtedly had a very tiny role I forced myself to slog through it long enough to correctly identify him in the background during a Round Table scene, and then smile smugly to myself when he showed up again with that oh-so-distinctive voice when Lancelot became a knight.

GOD is the movie dull, though. Not even the allure of more Alexis could get me to sit still for the rest of it.

In other news - does anybody know how to do that LJ retrofit thing that lets you know who's recently added you as a friend? I feel bad when I can't tell who the new people are so I can check out their journals and whatnot.

People amuse me

Questions I've seen recently that I so don't get:

"I know what happens at a straight wedding, but what do people at a gay wedding do?"

Um - get married? I mean what do you think they do? How would being gay affect the whole "stand in front of your friends and family and declare your love for each other" concept?

Then there's this from randomquestions:

Which is a fine enough question, except for those who've responded saying that no way no how would women want to see two guys together, in spite of those in the thread who agreed with the poster.

I hate credit cards that let you go over your limit. Really I've got no problems with you denying my card if the credit's not there anymore. Don't let me go over my limit like an idiot. Because then I seriously start to rack up debt that I can't handle.
