If you read this article carefully you'll see that the BBC is only vectoring a rumor from another newspaper. It's not confirmed that Faith will helm the series next year. As of me writing this, no American news, entertainment or otherwise, has hopped on this report.
So as of right now, this isn't a definite thing. More's the pity.
