So I work, now, at a dentist's office and wouldn't you know it that my gum starts hurting? This really annoys me b/c truth be told I haven't seen a dentist in easily five or six years and I was hoping to at least get a bit more caught up on flossing before letting the boss take a look at me. But no. Put new batteries into the ol' Oral-B, start to brush and - ow! Sore gum. Grrr.
Of course working here has made me hyper-paranoid, b/c by now I've seen patients who didn't think anything was wrong but walked out with upwards of 20-30 cavities (no, not kidding) and that's without anything hurting them. So I'm convinced now I'm going to end up needing a root canal or something.
Which, for the record, I think is no fair because I've got better home care than most of my friends who are fine. So there. Humph.
Oh well. At least he's a good dentist.
