Did you notice...
Angel dressed up for his meeting with Wesley?
One of Wesley's men brought the suitcase inside? (Wes didn't have it with him during the fight, nor was it on the crate when Wes put his weapons down on it. One of his men comes back, takes the ax, puts something down that we can't see, and then we see the suitcase.)
Personal theory on the last one - When Wes said - "Hawkins, back of my car." he was telling the guy to get the suitcase. However much it did sound wonderfully dommy and like Hawkins was going to get a little after hours work benefits ;)
