A day off - what's that??

thebratqueenI'm so torn right now. On the one hand I'm dying for the wildfeed but on the other I know once I read it I'll be done for the weekend. I'm trying to nurse an Epiphany bunny to life and it's not going to happen if I've got visions of tomorrow night's show dancing in my head (which isn't a spoiler, just saying that anticipating new stuff takes up the creative energies).
Looked like a nice day outside today so before I go shopping I throw open all the windows, figuring it'll be a lovely fall day with cool air that will air out my apt. Only catch is it's not fall temps - it's really freaking hot outside! So when I get back hours later my apt really doesn't feel any fresher for the air and I've got to close everything up and turn the A/Cs on.
Finally bought myself a crockpot, which I'm hoping will go far to help me with the dinner situation now that I get home from work later. Going to test it out today since obviously it would suck hugely to set it up to cook before work and then come home to a broken crockpot and food I've got to throw away.
Also hoping to clean today. Won't be able to do as much as I hoped b/c I couldn't find the organizers that I wanted, but I can at least vaccum, mop, dust, etc.
Call me a dork if you will but I actually enjoy this domestic stuff.
