Okay, the cold's good for some things

Drop in temperature yesterday gave me a hellacious sinus headache, however made things cold enough today that I could make my Toss Every Spare Veggie Into The Pot chicken soup and enjoy the process. It's not like you can really enjoy the smell of cooking soup in the middle of the hot summer.

Cookies from scratch for dessert, my insane cat to keep me company. Gotta enjoy these moments of doing nothing when I can. They're getting frustratingly rare.
