I want my fall weather, damn it!

thebratqueenIt's 86 and humid right now. It is also fall. WTF MOTHER NATURE??
Ahem.
Today has been productive so far, starting with me getting a much-needed haircut and then followed by taking Mac to the vet. We'll get the results of his bloodwork back on Tuesday, but the official word right now is that it looks like Mac is doing awesomely. He's eating, he's energetic, he's affectionate, he's gained two whole pounds since last month - all of the very, very good.
Which is part of why my next step will be to snuggle with him and take a nap. But obviously I had to share the good news.

Date: 2010-09-25 07:12 pm (UTC)I feel you. It's like the summer that never ends, and it sucks. It's blessedly cooler here in Alabama today - but that's only because we're having thunderstorms. It has been in the mid- to upper 90s for all of September, with heat indexes still in the triple digits. It's sickening having to hide in the air conditioning when you know it should be autumn already.
