At the moment I have a Mac on top of me. He is sleeping and purring and weighs approximately FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS. This of course being due to the law of kitty density, where the deeper asleep cats are the more dense they become. The end of the world will arrive when millions of cats all curl up in laps and sleepily purr us all into a black hole from which none of us shall ever recover. The cats, of course, will be fine.

But all in all I have no complaints about my kitty bondage, as it is a nice antedote for my day yesterday, which turned out kinda sucky. This was due to several factors that I won't go into since whining is never attractive. But suffice it to say that my day was capped off by my happy socks running out of happy. Yes, my day ended with SYMBOLISM. That is such a cruel fate. Metaphor, allusion - even polysyndeton would have all been fine. But SYMBOLISM? That's just cruel.

Clearly I need all the dense kitty snuggling that I can get.
