Yay December!

thebratqueenIt's dark and stormy here in the land of Siam, which makes me feel like I'm the protagonist in a Snoopy novel. If a shot rings out I'll let you know.
I spent this afternoon putting up my Christmas decorations. It's actually kind of warm out, but the storminess helped to create a snuggly indoors atmosphere so that it wasn't too weird. Plus they say it might snow on Monday, wheee!!
My calendar in my kitchen is one of NOLA, and the picture for December is a shot down Rue Royale with all the balconies and galleries decorated, and on one of them it says "Peace y'all." This is my new favorite phrase. There will be chocolate covered kisses to anyone who can make me an appropriate icon with this as a logo. (Non-ironic too, I genuinely love the phrase.)
With the decorations done I shall now spend the rest of my night relaxing. Hopefully I won't lose power. I'm enjoyingmy constant connection to the internet the pretty lights on my Xmas tree!
