thebratqueenThe boss is out for most of today. Most being the operative word. He made mention of stopping by at some point but gave no indication as to when. This makes it hard for me to plan because there are certain job-oriented tasks that I can get done much more efficiently if he's not underfoot, and past experience has shown these need to be timed carefully to ensure that doesn't happen.
In the meanwhile I do quick, easy to finish tasks that can be interrupted without fear. My hope is that he shows up sometime before lunch, which leaves me the whole afternoon to deal with the rest of it.
[ETA: He's come and gone, whee!]
In the meanwhile I am sleepy and wish I was home. The laptop was acting a little weird when I started it this morning, so I'm hoping that's not an indication of future problems. Also my dishwasher is leaking and I want to poke it (not dirty) to find out why.
Plus it's overcast and rainy so I really just want to curl up in comfy clothes and nap.
