WW, magic, knitting
Apr. 24th, 2005 09:27 pmI know I've said this before but I've seen it maybe a hundred times now and I still can't watch The Stackhouse Filibuster without weeping at the end. Damn that's good stuff.
My illness, which is slowly but surely getting better, thank goodness, has put me in a position where I've been watching a lot of TV. Some are DVDs, as the rewatch of Stackhouse can attest, some are whatever mindless program is on the air at the time.
Thanks to that, I have to say this: I cannot be the only person who sees those commercials for whatever series Discovery or TLC is doing on magic this week who immediately thinks of GOB, right? Please tell me there's AD fans in the crowd who know what I'm talking about (and while you're at it, tell me it's been renewed for next season.)
Currently knitting the kerchief in Stitch and Bitch. It's coming along nicely. I may be optimistic but it might even be done by the end of tonight. Which would be nice as that would give me Mon and Tues to play around with other stitches before I have to return the book to the library. I know I'm going to buy it at this point, but even still. No harm in checking.
