Work? What work?
May. 31st, 2002 11:00 amMajor frustration at the apt today. I'm in raptures over the paint colors I picked out but I found out that the wallpaper in the kitchen is in horrible condition and will have to be stripped before anything can be done. GRRRR. I so do not have the patience to argue with a steamer. Why did they put this up in the first place? It's ugly paper and it's a bad job. And as far as I can tell it's just white paint underneath (yes, the job is so bad I could tear away some strips with my bare hands - scary, huh?). Stupid people. I'll probably have to put the kitchen painting on hold until after the move. If I take the time to do the steaming and all before hand I won't get it done. All the other rooms can be painted with little to no problem b/c the paint is fine, just not the color I like. I'm not going to do the ceilings though. I know it gives a more finished look but A) I can't afford it and B) I don't mind the contrast anyway.
Finally, thanks muchly for all the feedback on my W/L snippet. It's weird writing het. But it's W/L so I support it fully. I'm still wondering if I should post it to any mailing lists though. I know y'all liked it, but is it too short for anything beyond my own mailing list? Lemme know.
