Huh? What?
May. 13th, 2002 12:24 pmI am so out of it this morning. I blame the weather. It's just one of those days when I'm constantly forgetting one tiny detail, like my watch, or where I put my water glass. This is scary on a day when I need to organize a buttload of webpages. I'm trying to make sure I don't make a major mistake but damn I think it's going to be hard.
So Buffy trusts Dawn with Spike. Her rapist. Good to know my worst fears re: the rape scene came true. What is it with ME and the inability to remember that their vampires are dark? Angel tried to kill Wes - GOOD. Spike tried to rape Buffy - GOOD. Now remember that! Gah! This frustrates me as much as when they started to make Angelus a pussy in his flashbacks. They're vampires people! And moreover this is rich coming from Marti "Spike is evil, nasty, horrible don't you dare like him" Noxon. Marti - as a free tip - if you don't want us to like Spike then stop writing him as a trust-worthy character. And for the love of God hand in your feminist membership card before we have to take it from you.
Beyond that though I'm looking forward to the ep. "Bored now" Hee! Awh, evil Willow! Come, stay, join evil Wes!
One question though, and maybe this was in the wildfeed and I missed it because I'm scatterbrained (or maybe it wasn't but will get clarified tomorrow in the actual ep) but why don't Xander and Buffy worry about Willow using magic? I get the concept of being grateful for magic that saves Buffy's life but beyond that shouldn't it at least get an eyebrow before the bus scene? Also the car scene in general didn't ring true to me. If Will's that powerful why isn't she flying, or bending reality to zap herself there or something (stuff we've seen her do in the past). Again judges will allow the potential that this plays better on the screen but for now it was just making me scratch my head.
