Big Pimpin' and clarifications

Forget ye not the 3rd Annual Wes Slash Contest which is going on right now and has a deadline of August 1st. 'Tis a most spiffy contest and I daresay some people get off to quite a good start there. Ahem.
Anyhoo, there's a few people who are only just coming out of the woodwork and starting to get their Wes slash groove on, and I wanted to make sure that they (and everyone else) knew about the contest so that they could join in. The world needs more Wes slash!
The clarification:
I'm one of the judges. I won't claim to speak for my fellow judges, but lemme just say this for myself: I judge good fic. I don't care if you're my best friend or my worst enemy. A good story is a good story and a piece of shit story is a piece of shit even if it was written by my brother. My bulletproof kinks are writing and characterization. Get 'em right and you're golden, fuck 'em up and you could donate a kidney to me and it's still not gonna make you win. In other words my personal emotions about the authors don't play a part in how I judge. It's all about the story, baby.
Though, while I've got your ear, lemme give you this little tip from the stable. It's a WESLEY centric slash contest. Which means, for me at least, SPELL HIS DAMN NAME RIGHT.
Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. No 'h' no 'i'. I allow some forgiveness for the various incorrect spellings of his name that have shown up in magazine articles and tie-in material (Wyndam-Price being the most common) but anything too far out of left field for the name of the character that the contest is based on does not endear an entry to me.
But, again, I speak only for myself. Some of the other judges aren't as bitchy as I am ;)
