The day after
May. 21st, 2003 11:58 amNo Buffy spoilers here. Not yet. Possibly not ever. I find myself torn between wanting to make some comments and feeling that with the 445,351,732 comments that are already out there that really somebody's already covered any point that I would make and, well, I'm feeling lazy.
Also I find myself already heading towards, as Kita put it last night, my TBQzen state which is the only thing that manages to get me through the summer hiatus. Because I can already see people freaking out about plot points, and did this mean that, and did this one tiny comment mean this big huge story arc, and what about this, and what about the other thing and, well, I can't cope. Because I've met ME before and I can see the hallmarks of a storyline that even they haven't fully set their minds on yet so I officially step out of the ring of spoilerdom and debate and won't really get back in until August or so. I can only have fun with stuff like that while the season's going on. When we're still firmly in the place where an entire season's story arc can be changed by an offhand comment during a writers' meeting - meh. Not for me. Y'all have fun, I'll join you later.
Thanks to those who sent hugs and sympathy and offers of Chosen downloads yesterday. Feeling somewhat better today. Ended up having to drug myself to sleep last night which is something I really really really really really really REALLY hate doing with a passion I can't get into without a therapist present, but oh well. You do what you gotta. Now if I could just get a few health issues under control (such as the reason why I had to drug myself to sleep last night) it'd be smooth sailing.
In final TV news for now, I also very much enjoyed 24. Jack/Palmer continues to be a smooth sailing ship. Again no spoilers, but I'm curious to see how season 3 is going to be now that they know that they'll be around for a few seasons. Season 2 obviously had to deal with setting a stage once some of the people from season 1 couldn't come back, but now that they know they've got a lot of time to work with, so to speak, I wonder how much they're going to do with reoccuring characters and the like. Should be fun to watch.
And with that, all I have left to watch is QAF. Man. What am I gonna do with all that time?
Besides, you know, vid and write fanfic.
