New job, day 2
Jul. 3rd, 2007 09:28 pmHUGE thanks to everyone who replied to the last post. As you saw I was feeling a bit beat down, so the encouragement and hugs were much appreciated. *cuddles you all*
Day 2 was not as bad. I felt a wee bit more in the groove. Not that I knew everything, but that I felt like I at least had a better idea of when and how to ask questions.
Also? Early day today due to holiday tomorrow! That would NEVER happen at my old job. OMG SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Given comments my boss made I suspect Thurs and Fri will kick my ass, due to projects that will need to be completed at OMGDOUBLETIME and I, of course, have no idea what that entails. So good odds for things being as tough as they were on Monday, albeit perhaps in some new ways. But at least I had today to catch my breath and not feel like I was a kindergardener trying to take doctorate classes.
Will post tomorrow with more details (highlights: why food is important, and the ancient discoveries to be found in my desk). Just wanted to let y'all know I was doing okay today.
