Summer! And stuff!
Jun. 21st, 2007 02:27 pmFirst day of summer! This is a happy thing for those of you who like warm weather! I love you in spite of how you are TOTALLY FREAKISH AND WRONG!

Been busy. I bought some new clothes yesterday to help me over the hump of having burned through all my office-appropriate stuff during the five billion interviews. This way I have enough mix and matchy nice things to get me through the first week, and after that I can suppliment as needed once I get the hang of what they define as business casual.
Also having to book a few thousand appointments as some of my doctors don't take my new insurance, so I'm trying to get myself to a point of having a month or two where I don't need to worry about tests or meds or what have you. I will admit that some doctors I shall not be sorry to get rid of, as I was mostly waiting for new ins to kick in so it could be a clean break all around.
I know my hours! At least for now! 8:30-5:30! Half an hour earlier than my usual right now, but OTOH I won't need to get up much earlier and plus I get out a wee bit earlier! This shall be helpful, esp. for my multiple trips to Trader Joe's as I hit it on the way home from work.
Current boss continues to be an annoying moron who gives every impression of not thinking my leaving is a big deal or even significant event. I am so feeling the love, really.
Saturday? New haircut!
Now I resume wishing I could nap at the office.
