The state of the me

Brief update from the busy girl:

1) I may have dodged a micro-managing bullet this week. This is a happy thing.

2) My family has decided to have what passes for psychodrama. Much like when I go to hardcore fan cons I am always bewildered to realize that amongst this crowd I'm one of the normal ones.

3) My co-op board has decided that 4th of July weekend is a faboo time to tear up the place, complete with last-minute notice that was shoved under everybody's door this afternoon both of a) the work being done in the first place and b) the things we would be expected to do to prepare beforehand and clean up after.

4) This has effectively shot my plans for this weekend down the toilet, which is most annoying. Though I suppose there's some benefit in extra time to write and hang out with family but, eh, did I mention #2?

5) We're supposed to get kick-ass storms tomorrow, complete with hail. I fret for my poor plants, who are now out in the wild and uncovered thanks to #3.

6) Stupid co-op board.

7) Now to go make up for having to miss dance class tonight.
