no shimmying tonight
Jun. 2nd, 2005 12:54 pmLooks like belly dance class is more or less cancelled for tonight. Turns out most of the students couldn't show and the teacher was apparently on the bubble herself (this is a busy season for her non-dancing job). Combine that with me possibly having a migraine on the way and it just seemed better to put the whole thing off until next week. At least that's what the school's owner (a fellow tribal student) and I agreed. Now we just need to track down the teacher to let her know.
The possible migraine thing is weird. You know how babies start to cry, and then you distract them (with, say, a fuzzy tiger?) So their little faces get all screwed up like they want to cry, but on the other hand there's this toy in front of them so... huh. They're thinking about it. I think that's what my head is doing. It's not obvious onset of a migraine enough for me to take the new prescription meds - or even a plain ol' over the counter Exedrin - but it feels like my head is thinking about it. I suspect this is due to the weather, as it's unusually cold today.
So I'm going to soldier on through the work day and reasses things tonight to see if I need to take a pill of some sort. Or I'll end up fine and just go to Trader Joe's tonight instead of tomorrow. It's anything can happen day.
