Looks like there's mending to do

So Mac walks up to me looking like a furry Abominable snowman.



Turns out there's a hole in my down comforter.

I have too many thoughts

You know how on commercials you'll sometimes hear jingles sung by choirs? Where do the choirs come from? Is it a proper choir, or is it one or two people computer enhanced to sound like a choir?

If it's a proper choir, how are they put together? Are these church groups looking for extra cash? Is it a bunch of single singers put together by an ad agency? Is it a group of people looking to make a couple of bucks with their voices? Do they think that doing jingles might be their chance to make it big?

How do they get everyone to agree to do commercials? Does this start fights? Are there altos who get pissed off because "It used to be about the music!"? Can casting agents tell the difference if one or two members are missing, or not the same as the last incarnation?

Are there rivalries? Do shady agents come along and convince the second soprano that they're the real star and everybody else is holding them back? Do they try to screw up the pay scale so that some members only get a couple of bucks? Do some try to break off and make it on their own, only to fail and have to come back with their hat in their hand?

Who are these people?
