On bellydance 'n' stuff
Mar. 18th, 2005 10:06 amHad a great bellydance class last night. There were actually 9 students, including myself. For the first time ever we actually had to make two lines to fit everyone in. Plus when we danced in a circle it was actually a circle, rather than a triangle or a square that we were pretending counted ;)
( More on class, plus various navel-gazing ponderings about tribal belly dance )
In other news I have more free time this weekend as the gun class I was going to be taking turned out to be full. I'm actually not upset about missing the class as I can try again the weekend after Connexions, plus this way I have an extra day to try to catch up on all the stuff that's stressing me out because I haven't caught up with it yet.
To that end what I've decided to do is, instead of constantly looking at the huge list and being overwhelmed at how everything I do only makes tiny dents in it, is instead to decide on just 2-3 things to get done in a day, and once I've done those then I'm done until the next day. This way I get more of a sense of accomplishment, plus there's scheduled time for relaxation.
Finally, and in what is in no way a sequitur, have any of you ever tried baking a potato in the microwave? And, if so, how'd you do it and did you like the results?
