snow, and on the various states of me
Jan. 19th, 2005 10:45 amIt's snowing. This is good. It's snowing sideways. This is odd. Particularly as it isn't really windy outside, so I can't help but wonder if the snow got horribly confused and is just going to keep going left until it hits something, never realizing that it shall lead a doomed existance of never once touching ground. Either that or the snow realized that it was falling in the wrong place, and now it's trying to desperately correct matters, all the while apologizing for the confusion. "Sorry! Sorry! Meant to hit Canada! Our bad! So sorry about this! Pardon us, we'll just be scurrying along now."
That is, of course, if snow talked. Obviously it does not, as I think we all know that snow actually hums, and occasionally whistles a jaunty tune.
Anyway, things here are good in the world of TBQ. Since y'all got to see me hiding under the bed due to scary, eepy, stressful meetings a couple of weeks ago, I'll give you the update that we're slowly but surely getting past the scary and eepy part and moving on to the happy sigh of relief part. I realize that might not say much without the details of what all it was about, but what can I say? I'm a woman of mystery.
Watched Veronica Mars last night. I don't know that the pilot alone would be enough to interest me if the LJ outage hadn't given me plenty of time to read recaps of all the other eps. It seems interesting, but we'll see if the next couple of reruns are enough to get me in. The annoying thing is that it's on at the same time as House, and I like both shows about equally and both have about as equal a chance of getting the can once their runs are done. I feel like I'm trying to pick which line in the grocery store is shortest while knowing that as soon as I make the decision all the other lines are going to start going much faster.
Still, thanks to Tivo this is not that big of a deal.
I apologize to those who have not yet gotten their charity fics. Now that
ats_nolimits is back from winter break (new ep tonight! 9pm Eastern!) I don't have as much free time as I did before. I will get to everybody, it just won't be as quickly as the first round of requests happened to be. Slowly but surely though, promise.
