Happy Solstice
Dec. 21st, 2004 11:38 amHappy Solstice one and all! Tonight the boss takes me out for a holiday dinner, which may comprise the total of my official Solistice celebrations, depending on how long that takes.
Plans of attack re: the holidays continue. I think I've figured out a workable schedule for getting the rest of the desserts baked as well as the prepwork done for breakfast on Sunday. Also somewhere in there presents shall be wrapped.
Note to self, though: next year take days off. I stupidly thought I didn't need to this year, since Christmas and New Years are both on Saturdays. Wrong wrong wrong. Ah well, nothing to be done about it now.
I keep going back and forth on that wee fic snippet I posted the other day. I originally thought of it for a project that wouldn't see the light until next summer. Now I'm thinking I should use something else for said project, which would mean freeing the snippet for other purposes. Because, as we all know, I lack for WIPs to be posting to this LJ.
I'm told the first step is admitting that you are powerless against fic. I'm not sure I'm even interested in the second.
'tis cold outside, as is right and proper for winter! Tomorrow it shall be warm, but today we celebrate! Yay cold!
