Much better

Feeling better today thanks to an early night that actually involved sleeping. I feel so decadent.

Caught the lunar eclipse last night. Very nifty to watch the moon go all rust-colored. Though a little creepy in some ways. You know, it is a great big universe and we are all really puny.*

Tonight is the second tribal dance class. This is also the first trial run on getting there after work. The happy thing is that my boss was very understanding when I said I'd need to book out of here at 6pm exactly and no later. Also it's possible that leaving from work instead of home will knock 5-10 min off of the travel time, which is a good chunk considering that I'll not only need to make the class in a timely manner, but get changed once I get there.

We'll see how it goes. My attitude at this point is pretty much "whatever happens happens". If it works out, great, if not I'll look into other options.

Got a quilt in the mail last night from zortified. Huzzah! I shall mail it out to the nephew tomorrow, ideally. I have a ton of stuff to do this weekend, a lot of it fannish. I may need to jettison some errands until next week just to be on the safe side.

This is me rambling to myself, don't mind me.

I just realized this morning that we're coming down to the very last eps of the Daily Show before the election. Man. This whole presidential thing is starting to feel like it's real. ;)
