Way to focus on the real problems, guys

I so love it when the Church has the right priorities. I was ranting and raving about this back when it was the girl in MA. Now that they're doing it again - argh!

This to me is the very definition of what's wrong with the Church: Jackass people who focus on man-made rules more than they focus on what God and Christ were teaching. Yeah, let's force the little girl who only wants to do the Sacraments and be closer to God to eat the thing that hurts her, because the most important part of Communion is not what Christ did or what it symbolizes, but the frikkin' gluten.

Honestly, at this point I want another Martin Luther. The Church is so absolutely ridiculous in its works and its priorities that it needs to be shaken down to the foundations and revamped into something new. Of course the nice thing is I don't think we're too far away from that happening.

In happier news

This morning while on the way to work I saw the tiniest dog! It was the smallest thing EVER. I actually, while driving, did a double take as I wondered why this woman was on the sidewalk holding a long piece of leather in her hand. And then I saw! Tiny dog! Only an inch tall!

I have no idea why I didn't pull over and steal it.
