Wisdom for the ages

Just got back from a Sunday with the family. There I learned, thanks my little niece, that, quote, "Sometimes people pee their pants." and you know I think that's words we can all come to live by.

The back is not pleased with my attempts to do housecleaning. I again defend myself by pointing out the black cats/beige carpet equation, and the fact that the only thing I was told not to do was anything related to building up muscles, such as situps or lifting anything over 15 pounds. But apparently vacuuming and various forms of housecleaning actually fit this bill, so live and learn. I'm going to spend tonight snuggled up with a hot water bottle and try to take it easy.
