dead, or at least I wish I was
Apr. 27th, 2004 08:25 amYou know, it's not that I woke up in the middle of the night on the night that I was trying to go to bed on time and get enough sleep, because that's ironic and therefore kind of funny.
And it's not that I woke up with a blinding migraine that left me crying and throwing up for hours, because that was part and parcel of why I never fell back to sleep, so we're back on the irony again.
It's that the migraine went away at about 7am, which means I don't feel sick anymore, which means I have no excuse to call in sick to work other than "Well, I'm really really tired", and that's not much of an excuse now, is it?
You know, if it had to last for four freaking hours why couldn't the headache have stayed around long enough to let me get out of work?
Stupid... I dunno. Whatever thing is in charge of this stuff.
