According to the weather reports I flicked through this morning we're due to get 3-5" of snow, 3-6", 5-8", 6-12" or quite possibly 3-16".
Not that the weathermen (and it was all men, hence my use of the term, plus at this early hour I'm not sure I can correctly spell "meteorologist") were hedging their bets or anything.
Quote of the morning:
"It's going to be quite a day for weather outside."
Really? How's that inside weather going to be today? [eyeroll]
I've got to agree with Jon Stewart, who said last night that the problem with all this is that they act as though we've never seen snow before. Which is actually kind of stupid on many levels, but moreso considering the snow squall that hit earlier this week which touched down in all the areas that I was watching news broadcasts from. So where they get this "First snow of the season!" (exclamation point theirs, not mine) I have no idea.
Work today, work tomorrow, chances are Sunday I ain't getting out of bed before noon ;)
Corn muffins were fine, sky is overcast, I can't really tell if the humidifier I bought the other day is doing much of anything, and apparently there are some romance novel cliches that even I don't have pride enough to admit that I don't like (how's that for generous use of double negatives?) (and in other words, one of the bunnylettes from yesterday is still with me, though it warped a bit, and now I'm tempted to write it out later just for amusement value).
And I may or may not do a rant later about "semi-homeade cooking" and the annoying woman behind it. Because I know y'all care.
Off to work!
