thebratqueen: Captain Marvel (confused)
First off, thanks to those who helped with the German translation the other day. 'twas most appreciated. =)

Now for random commentary:

If Roger Ebert inadvertently revealed a major plot point to Once Upon a Time in Mexico because he forgot enough of Desperado to not realize this was a major, probably not to be spoiled plot point, I may have to whap him one. As it is I'm frustrated that I won't know until tonight if it's true or not (I know I could find other reviews but as I've been spoiled enough I don't want to chance it).

I am, apparently, addicted to chicken basil pizza and to cooking magazines. I'm told the first step is admitting you have a problem.

I was surfing friendsfriends yesterday and not to shit on anyone's 9-11 commentary but man was it hard for me to bite my tongue on anyone who felt the need to conclude "And this is why we need the Ten Commandments posted everywhere" because you know, no. Just no. And if I have to explain it to you then boy do we have bigger problems here than list placements.

Finally - who buys cinnamon sugar? Who is this unskilled, cooking wise? I could see a reason for almost - almost - every ridiculous pre-made item out there, even those cookie dough things that come in little squares on the odd chance that cutting up a tube was too difficult for you, but cinnamon sugar? At that point why are you even bothering to make the thing you'll be putting the cinnamon sugar on? Honest, I promise, whatever you're making it with is more difficult and time consuming than taking two ingredients and stirring or even shaking them together. You can do it!

ETA: and I would like the ghost that stole my tortillas to give them back now.
