Veeeeeeerrrrrrry simple things amuse me

Two things that made me smile this morning:

1. Two fish swim into a concrete wall. The one turns to the other and says "Dam!"

2. Two hydrogen atoms meet. One says "I've lost my electron." the other says "Are you sure?" The first replies "Yes, I'm positive."

What can I say? I'm a dork.

One year already?

So with a great feeling of pride I can report that for the first time ever I made it through an entire work year without once calling in sick. Granted this was with a few close calls and I probably won't ever repeat this again but hey - give me my moment to shine.

Nice lunch out with the boss. Found out that I'll be getting another raise. Can't beat that.

Weird day energy wise. I was going along totally fine until about 4:30, at which point I completely bottomed out for no reason that I could see. To be honest I'm still kind of feeling it. I haven't even bothered to change out of my work clothes yet. This may be a shower/early day of sleep for me. We'll see.

Oh - but pot roast first. That'll go in the crock pot then be ready for tomorrow.

Finally, I wanted to do a public post to say thanks to everybody who responded to my open letter to anti-slash fans. I'd thank you all individually but dayum there were a lot of you. So I ended up mostly responding to those who had a more specific thing for me to respond to. OTOH I hate to give the impression I'm not grateful for feedback so - here's my public thanks to everybody I couldn't thank individually. Thanks! =)
