Just checking.
So last night I gave up on life as I knew it and crawled into bed at an ungodly early hour. Did I get more sleep? No! Of course not! But, oddly, I feel more awake today so gift horse blah di blah.
Gave up on asshole plumber who, in addition to leaving snarky message the other day saying he'd call me at work never, you know, called me at work. Got a recommendation for a plumber off my super, left a message with them last night with my cell and work number and amazingly enough they called both (thus sayeth my missed log on my cell phone) and actually managed to book an appointment with me! For a time of my choosing! What a concept! I'm tempted to call asshole plumber back to explain why he's not getting my business but since that would require getting him on the phone I'm not going to bother.
Did an interesting Tarot reading last night. Interesting in that, since I believe in Tarot as a very big "flip a coin to find out the answer you really want" system, it wasn't the answer I was expecting as what I really wanted, yet at the same time I didn't feel I was talking myself into anything. So there we are.
I keep going back and forth on the idea of offering Tarot readings to people here on LJ. Supposedly I'm good at it, but then again I've never done readings online before so who knows?

buffybot, the other thing with buffybot, the next Epiphany story, various fic-a-thon things I've signed up for, Edwardian stuff, Cat & Mouse which God help me I want to have finished by the end of summer, Schmoop with wolfling, a couple of essays for zyre, an essay mostly for the benefit of myself about "what is slash?" and... I'm sure there's an and.
And I wonder why I have no free time.
